How does an investor get in contact with a trader? ›
Investors on a paid plan can submit a subscription request directly through the platform. They propose a monthly amount and a short message — no personal details are exchanged at any point. The trader receives the request in their TheYard dashboard inbox and can accept, decline, or propose a different price. Everything stays on-platform.
What exactly does "verified" mean? ›
Performance is pulled directly from the trader's broker via MyFxBook, MetaApi, or Darwinex. No trader can manually enter or edit their stats — every number, including losing months and drawdowns, is exactly as it happened in their real live account.
Can I cancel anytime? ›
Yes — monthly plans cancel instantly with no penalty. Annual plans are non-refundable but can be paused. Your profile stays visible until the end of your paid period, then moves to unlisted. You keep all your data and can reactivate anytime.
What is copy trading? ›
Copy trading is when an investor follows a trader and replicates their trades in their own broker account. On TheYard, this works through manual signal alerts — when a trader you subscribe to opens a position, you receive an instant notification with the trade details. You then decide whether to place the same trade yourself in your own broker. You are always in control of what you copy and how much you risk. Fully automated copying — where trades are placed in your account without any action from you — is not available on TheYard at this stage and would require FCA authorisation to offer.
What happens after an investor submits a subscription request? ›
The request lands in the trader's TheYard dashboard inbox. The trader can accept the proposed price, decline, or counter with a different monthly amount. The investor sees the response in their portal. No email addresses, phone numbers, or personal details are ever shared between the two parties — all communication happens through the platform.
What brokers are supported? ›
MT4 and MT5 via MyFxBook or MetaApi (direct connection via investor password, covering the vast majority of retail forex brokers), plus Darwinex for traders on that platform. Get in touch before signing up if you are unsure whether your broker is compatible.
Do I need an FCA licence to list? ›
Listing verified performance as an information service generally does not require FCA authorisation. However, if you are actively soliciting investment or managing money on behalf of others, you may need to be authorised. Speak to a compliance adviser if you are unsure about your specific situation.
When does billing go live? ›
No charges until the platform is live. Waitlist members lock in founder pricing — 20% off the rates shown — for as long as they stay subscribed. We will give at least 30 days notice before any billing begins.
